If you forgot your NVR password, you can follow the steps below to reset the password and restore access to your security system.

Factory Reset the NVR

You can restore your NVR to factory settings by following one of the menu paths below:

• Right-click the mouse → System Setup → System Admin → Factory Setting
• Right-click the mouse → System Setup → System Admin → Factory Setting → Simple Restore
• Right-click the mouse → System Setup → Reset → Factory Set

NVR Password Reset Steps

        1. In the system login window, enter an incorrect password. A message will appear indicating that the password is incorrect.

        2. Move the USB mouse cursor to the incorrect password message window. In this window, click the left mouse button once, then the right mouse button once. Repeat the left-click and right-click sequence 6 times. 

        The system will then display a window asking whether you want to restore the user. Click Yes to continue.

        3. In the following window, set a new password:

• The old password field should be left blank.
• The new password is recommended to be 8-10 digits.
• Do not use special characters in the new password.

  Click OK to complete the password reset.

If the clicking method does not work, please contact our support team and provide the following information:

• The date and time displayed on your NVR system
• The Cloud ID of your system
