Question:What's the furthest the camera can be from the wifi tower?
Answer:it's all going to depend on what's in between them which may cause interference. I have the furthest one about 50' away in a direct line from the eave of my garage which would require penetrating through two walls of the garage and the front outer wall of my house to the office where I have the console box located.

Yes,this wired camera system can work without internet.
But if you want to realize remote access(viewing cameras remotely via phone and PC), there has to be internet in the place where you place the NVR system; you have to connect the NVR to your router directly with a network cable, to make the Cloud ID of your system online. If there is no internet, you couldn't view cameras remotely via phone and PC, just can watch live video in the place where you place the NVR system.
