Connect cameras to the NVR

NVR AC power adapter is 48V 2A. Please make sure the power connect is right. Power adapter supports input from AC 110-240V.

Connect NVR to monitor

Please do not use laptop monitor or all-in-one PC as camera system monitor. TV or PC monitor would be a perfect choice.

The camera can only be connected to the NVR to work, because the camera needs the NVR to provide power. The model cannot provide power to the camera.

The standard working temperature of the camera is -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit; but when the camera works, it sends out heat, so it can work at a bit lower temperature.

I recommend referring to other customers' reviews for the product, but I wanted to leave a review myself because the customer service when it broke was exceptionally good.

Let's buy a set of eight cameras from the start! ?

Since it's a rural house with a forest and no power outlets, I purchased a set of four Poecameras.

The LAN cable is a bit thick, but it's okay to run it through the glass window (sash) without drilling holes in the wall (although it's not recommended). So, I'm routing the cables through the window.

During the day, and especially at night using the IR (infrared) feature, the image quality is quite good. You can also adjust settings like color tones.

Equipped with motion sensors (adjustable sensitivity), you can select and save videos from multiple cameras that catch your attention, then review them on the monitor or back them up. Backups are only possible via USB, so I purchased a large capacity USB drive for this purpose.

The interface took a little getting used to since it's a Chinese product; you'll see messages like System status is healthy (lol),but you'll quickly get accustomed to it.

With the dedicated app connected to the router, you can monitor camera information not only within the Wi-Fi range but also remotely while on the go. It was convenient to set up the cameras while checking on my smartphone during installation.

The cameras are so good and convenient that I ended up adding more cameras, up to the maximum of eight. (*Note: One camera had an initial defect, but after contacting customer service, a replacement arrived the next day.) The 4-camera set comes with two 15m and two 30m cables. If purchased separately, you can choose 30m cables.

The waterproofing is holding up well even in the forest environment, with just some minor dirt from tree sap on the lens. (*Note: It's better to install them under eaves if possible, especially during storms.)

Considering cameras and cables as consumables, I'm using them extensively. (*Note: There's also a warranty available.)

Great kit!

The setup on this system is very easy. The hardest part is running the wiring to the cameras but the POE (power over internet) NVR powers the cameras through the Ethernet cable so you dont have to have an outlet near the camera. I had an issue getting the NVR online so I called tech support. To my surprise the call went very smooth. I spoke to Johnny and he had me up and running within 3 minutes. The night vision works well and Im happy with the daylight picture. I researched and compared all the brands on before pulling the trigger on OHWOAI. They didnt have the most reviews but the reviews they had were good. They also had the POE NVR with a hard drive already installed with 5mp cameras. Im happy with my decision.

The image is much clearer than I imagined.

I replaced the security camera I had been using for 10 years, which was flickering, with this one using LAN wiring. The image is much clearer than the previous one. The wiring was very easy because I just had to connect the camera and recorder with LAN. (I forgot to prepare an HDMI cable for connecting to a monitor or TV, so I had to rush out to buy one.) Despite being low-priced, the cost-effectiveness is quite excellent. I plan to purchase another one depending on its durability. Also, although there is a gasket in the LAN port of the camera for waterproofing, it seems better to reinforce it with waterproof tape.

Since the camera itself is assigned an IP, it was even better that it supports RTSP.
