Connect cameras to the NVR

NVR AC power adapter is 48V 2A. Please make sure the power connect is right. Power adapter supports input from AC 110-240V.

Connect NVR to monitor

The camera can only be connected to the NVR to work, because the camera needs the NVR to provide power. The model cannot provide power to the camera.

Question:What happens if the temperature goes below -4F?

The standard working temperature of the camera is -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit; but when the camera works, it sends out heat, so it can work at a bit lower temperature.

Question:I tried adding a new camera to this sysyem and it says the resolution is too big. Any answers on how to makd this work?
Answer:My husband installed ours. I bought with 8 cameras. Wat we did was buy 100 ft of the same kind of connection (bought at Amazon, too) it came with. The manual tells what comes in box. But before you buy, try seller. They are good in replying and helping to trouble shoot, issue.

Generally great camera but the app needs work!

I've had this OHWOAI camera installed for about a month now, and while I really do like the camera, there are several things I don't like about it. That being said, most of my concerns are most likely app related and not necessarily the fault of the camera. The camera itself seems to do exactly what it's supposed to do and at the advertised specs (except night vision).

Pros
1. The camera construction quality is solid
2. The image and video quality are excellent
3. Motion detection is good (though this can be a problem)

Cons
1. The sensitivity level/zone changes dont seem to make any difference, or it takes a while for any changes to be reflected within the app. I was constantly getting motion detected notifications at night as spiders ran a web nearby. Even after the web was made, the movement of a single strand had enough of a reflection in the IR to cause a notification. I changed the sensitivity across the entire level with no immediate changes to notifications. After a couple of days, the notifications seemed to stop entirely. I noticed the spiders were gone, but there are hanging lights and a rope that no longer seem to trigger a notification when they move. I also no longer get notifications when someone is walking in the yard like myself. Im going to have to continue to adjust the sensitivity but slowly as I cant tell what the turn around time is for applying the change since it seems that the change isnt immediate.
2. The lack of audio is frustrating. I get that this camera was advertised as not having a mic, but it doesnt negate the fact that a mic really should be included on all types of cameras and not just the dome variant. If I get another camera it will have audio since its important for me as I use the camera to keep an eye/ear on my 6yo as he plays in the backyard and I have to work in my home office.

Its a good system

We adore this OHWOAI security system. The audio quality is exceptional, allowing me to easily monitor my 6 and 7-year-olds while they play outside near our garage. The coverage is quite good, but it becomes only decent farther down my driveway. Currently, we've only installed 2 of the cameras because setting up the system in our attic is quite a hassle. We're aiming to conceal all interior cords within the walls for a cleaner setup.

Moisture inside camera

I purchased these OHWOAI cameras in 2020 but didn't install them until the end of summer 2021. Towards the end of last summer, one of the cameras started fogging the image. Since it was installed at a height, I didn't climb the ladder to address it during the winter. Yesterday, with better weather allowing closer access, I noticed that the entire lens is fogged. These cameras are advertised as outdoor cameras, so this fogging issue is concerning.

Great Update to OHWOAI Cameras

OHWOAI has made a great update to its surveillance cameras. My driveway camera records motion that is detected even across the street! Image quality is much better than the last generation. Best feature is the added "AI" (Artificial Intelligence) feature that allows playback to screen out all motion to show only when human movement was detected / recorded, or only vehicle movement. Let's me record my driveway 24/7, and only watch people walking by if I choose that option for playback.

The best OHWOAI camera I've bought yet

This is my 5th outdoor OHWOAI camera and this one took the biggest leap from old to new model. The picture as you would expect is quite clear at 8MP. Older cameras aren't poor quality, but you can really tell the difference between those and this one. The night vision is great as it overlooks a driveway in an area without much ambient light to help it out. I have an old 2MP one that you can barely see anything at night.

The web view software is pretty much the same as the others, so if you're used to it already, you'll have no problem setting up this one.

Probably the best thing I've noticed is how snappy the web view console is. The older cameras have a tendency to lag when trying to load the web view, both in the picture and the various controls to set. This one loads fast every time
