After installing a hard drive, the system operates smoothly. Unfortunately, a couple of cameras arrived damaged, but the seller promptly replaced them. This prompt action by the seller earns an additional star; otherwise, it would have been a 4-star review. The video quality is a bit grainy, and it struggles to capture license plates from 20 feet away. However, considering the price, it's acceptable. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one in the future.

I chose these cameras based on their high ratings and the promise of no subscription fees. However, after installing two cameras, setting up the DVR, and making holes in my home, I discovered a major limitation: while you can view recordings from the DVR and the app works well, you cannot playback recordings on the app without a subscription. Additionally, the subscription prices are exorbitant, especially considering they apply to each camera and only provide storage for up to 30 days. In contrast, my previous system, which lasted several years before breaking down, stored videos for 6 months without any subscription fees. I give this system 3 stars due to its apparent focus on generating revenue rather than providing value to customers.

Simple installation, excellent picture and audio quality, and user-friendly operation. The only downside is that the plugs are too short for my needs. While there's an extension available for the cord, I believe it should have come with at least two extensions for the outdoor cameras.

Easy to install, comes with a good length cable, and good image quality. It would be convenient if the camera mount had a swivel for left and right view adjustment, but otherwise a good product.

After placing the order, I had some concerns about whether the product would come with sufficient cable. However, each camera includes a generous 50ft of BNC/power cable, which is more than enough.

The installation process was straightforward, and setup was a breeze. Personally, I find a cabled system preferable to WiFi (I even replaced our WiFi system with this DVR).

I added a 500GB drive and configured it for motion recording only, and after two weeks, it's only at 1% capacity.

The night vision is clear, and the motion detection functions as advertised. You may need to adjust the sensitivity settings to accommodate your specific environment (such as dealing with bugs or fog).
