I never set out to start a security brand. In fact, for most of my career, I lived a routine 9-to-5 life in the IT industry. That all changed the day I met Nova.

Nova was a stray dog—small, scruffy, and completely unexpected. At first, I only stopped to give him food, assuming he’d move on. But the next day, he was there again. And the day after that. Eventually, he became part of my life, and one evening, I finally asked him, “Want to come home with me?” With a wag of his tail, he said yes. 

Having Nova changed everything. Suddenly, home wasn’t just an empty space—it was where someone was waiting for me. But while I was at work, I worried. Was he okay? Was he lonely? I searched for a security camera to check in on him, but every product I tried had problems—blurry video, no two-way talk, no remote control. I kept thinking: Why isn’t there a better solution?

That question led to OHWOAI.

I wanted to build a security camera that was clear, reliable, and easy to use—not just for pet owners like me, but for families and businesses too. What started as a personal project soon turned into something much bigger. More people needed a smarter way to protect what mattered most, and OHWOAI was here to provide it.

The name OHWOAI reflects our vision:
